I first began creating web sites in 1997. I took some HTML classes, played around with
different software programs such as HotDog Pro, Netscape Composer, Microsoft
FrontPage, and plain text editors. However, none of the sites I designed then
are still out there; I did not keep screen shots nor do I still have the files. I did find
a few page printouts that I kept, but they really aren’t much to look at. Then for a few years, I only did occasional web page editing rather than the
actual layout or design. But I have recently found that I
really enjoy doing the whole project: layout, design, writing, formatting, and publishing.
I am currently learning javascript and intend to tackle cascading style
sheets soon. My biggest challenge so far has been redoing my own site here;
and I have drastically improved my skills in the process. I have begun to learn and
utilize Dreamweaver and Fireworks and still use other tools as well,
including FrontPage. This site has been constructed using all three of the above
at various stages, as well as manually coding a lot of the html (when I can’t get the
software to do what I want it to do). I am confident
that I can create a professional looking site for you at a very reasonable
price. |
