As you may have noticed, the world has changed the way it does
business. More and more people these days are leaving the traditional
corporate workplace to work on their own in small or home-based businesses where they can
have more control over their work and their lives. In an uncertain economy, we can
no longer rely on the job security that our parents had and a lot of us have simply grown
tired of the never-ending rat race. Life is short. Why not enjoy it? 
Small businesses need independent contractors. Employees are expensive. Often, small
businesses cannot afford to hire and maintain a full-time staff. Not only that, but
while a business may have multi-faceted needs, it may only have those needs on an
occasional, or part-time basis. It often makes no sense to hire employees to meet all of
the specific needs a business may have.
