I first learned basic bookkeeping more than twenty years ago at my first secretarial job;
the bookkeeper taught me her job before she left the company and no one was hired to
replace her.
I later worked for a CPA firm where I learned full-charge manual bookkeeping and later the
use of computerized bookkeeping systems.
I currently use Peachtree Accounting primarily and can also use QuickBooks Pro when
necessary. I have had a lot of recent experience troubleshooting and correcting
QuickBooks bookkeeping problems and converting client files from QuickBooks to Peachtree.
I work with CPAs, individuals, and small- to medium-sized businesses. Services include
initial set-up of books where needed, ongoing maintenance of general ledger accounts,
accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and job costing functions. I also prepare
financial statements and complete year-end documentation and reporting for all balance
sheet accounts, which greatly reduces tax preparation time. For meticulous and accurate record-keeping and
